David Adger

David Adger is Professor of Linguistics at Queen Mary University of London. His research tries to understand the nature of grammatical structure by building and testing generative theoretical models of linguistic phenomena. He is also interested in how formal syntactic theory links with sociolinguistic theories of language use. He is currently President of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain.
