David Gelernter is a Professor of Computer Science at Yale University, the chief scientist at Mirror Worlds Technologies, and a prolific writer. He has exhibited his paintings in New Haven and Manhattan; and contributed essays to the Weekly Standard, Commentary, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, and the Los Angeles Times.
