Krishnaswami Alladi is a number theorist, currently Professor of Mathematics at the University of Florida. He received his PhD from UCLA in 1978. He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Ramanujan Journal, published by Springer. He helped create the SASTRA Ramanujan Prize for young mathematicians, and has chaired the prize committee since its inception in 2005.
