Michael Denton

Michael Denton is a British-Australian biochemist whose research since the early 1980s has focused on the identification of genes responsible for inherited retinal disease in humans. His work has led to the identification of several new retinal disease genes and, in 2009, a successful gene therapy trial at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. In addition to Evolution: A Theory in Crisis, he is the author of Nature’s Destiny.
