Mike Leeder is Professor Emeritus in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. He is a former Department Head of the School of Earth Sciences at the University of Leeds, and a Lyell medallist of the Geological Society of London. His current interests include history of science, physical sedimentology, and the geological evolution of the Aegean and surrounding areas. He is the author of Measures for Measure: Geology and the Industrial Revolution, published with Dunedin Academic Press.
