Monica Green is an American historian and Professor of History at Arizona State University. She has worked throughout her career in the field of medieval European medical history. In recent years, her interest in the history of the world’s leading infectious diseases, including plague, leprosy, and HIV/AIDS, has induced her to expand her teaching and research into global history.
