Neeraja Sankaran is a historian of science, science writer, editor, and independent scholar who is currently based in Bangalore, India. She holds a PhD in History of Science from Yale University, a Certificate in Science Writing from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Science in Microbiology from the University of Alberta. Recent books include Leeuwenhoek’s Legatees and Beijerinck’s Beneficiaries, and A Tale of Two Viruses.
