Partha Ghose

Partha Ghose is a Distinguished Fellow at the Tagore Centre for Natural Sciences and Philosophy, Kolkata, and a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India and the West Bengal Academy of Science & Technology. He retired as Professor & Academic Programme Coordinator at the S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata in February 1999. He did his doctoral thesis under the supervision of Satyendranath Bose and specializes in the foundations of quantum mechanics and classical polarization optics.
