Pieter Lemmens

Pieter Lemmens teaches philosophy and ethics at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. He has published on the philosophy of technology and innovation, on the work of Martin Heidegger, Peter Sloterdijk and Bernard Stiegler as well as on post-autonomist and post-operaist Marxism, and on themes from philosophical anthropology. He co-edited a book on the philosophy of landscape and place (2011) and a volume on contemporary German philosophy (2013), both in Dutch. Current interests are the philosophical and politico-economic aspects of human (cognitive) enhancement technologies, the philosophical aspects of trans- and post humanism, philosophy of psychedelics, and philosophy of technology in the age of the Anthropocene.
