Robert Socolow

Robert Socolow is an emeritus professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, an associate of the National Research Council of the National Academies, a fellow of the American Physical Society, and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He is a member of the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and was recently appointed to the National Academies Committee to Advise the US Global Change Research Program.

In this, they represent an anomaly in the broader scientific community. Physicists can also make a strong case that climate science is being done well and that its major conclusions are correct.
