William Kininmonth

William Kininmonth is a meteorologist who worked at the Australian Bureau of Meteorology for 38 years. He spent 12 of those years as head of its National Climate Center. He was Australia’s delegate to the World Meteorological Organization’s Commission for Climatology for 18 years, and he coordinated the scientific and technical review for the United Nations Inter-Agency Task Force on El Niño. He is the author of Climate Change: A Natural Hazard.
